WHERE ARE THE MEN OF GOD?

“The critical need of the church at this moment is men . . . We languish for men who feel themselves expendable in the warfare of the soul because they have already died to the allurements of this world. Yes, if evangelical Christianity is to stay alive, it must have men again – the right kind of men. It must repudiate the weaklings who dare not speak out, and it must seek in prayer and much humility the coming again of men of the stuff of which prophets and martyrs are made.” (A.W. Tozer)

“Although the greatest temptation to the believer is to “come down from the cross and save yourself,” the only people God can use are “dead” ones.” (David Ravenhill)

“Give me one hundred men who fear nothing but sin, and desire nothing but God, and I will shake the world.” (John Wesley)

“You can’t kill a dead man.” (Unknown)

Where are the men who once preached fearlessly and without apology? They feared not one man, but only feared God. Where are the men of old whose words cut like a knife deep into the heart of man? Where are the men of God who are baptized with fire? Where are the men who are not willing to peddle a cheap gospel for the sake of a crowd? Where are the men of God that are not swayed by flattery? Where are the men of God that measure success God’s Way and not man’s way? Oh, where are the men of God who would dare pledge their heads to Heaven for the sake of the gospel? Where are the men of God who will stand firm in the face of a controlling Jezebel? Where are the men of God who won’t preach unless they have a hot coal off the altar of God? Where are the real men of God in our day? Look in the mirror, you just might find him. Don’t be a Judas. Never be for sale! You can do it !!!
